We'll begin this lab session by reviewing information found on the Course Capstone Project page (link at left) and my expectations for your effort as presented in the project rubric. We'll also develop a mutually agreeable timeline for the project "deliverables" including a topic, first draft of your "Fine Gardening" magazine article, project video, presentation file, and final manuscript.
Once we've come to an initial understanding of the scope of the capstone project, we'll spend the rest of the class time on conducting a series of relatively simple exercises that will help us to better understand the physical traits of the most commonly used components of propagation media.
Do check back for details of this lab as the beginning of the semester approaches.
