Chapter 9 - Principles of Clonal Selection (Chapter 16 in the 7th and 8th editions of the textbook)

I realize this is getting confusing . . . . . "why aren't the chapters the same from one edition of the textbook to the next?"

Obviously, I don't have the answer to this question. However, I can say that it does make sense in the 9th edition to introduce the content - i.e., "principles of clonal selection" - before launching into the numerous clonal propagation techniques discussed from Chapter 10 to the end of the textbook.

You might also notice that "Chapter 16" is referred to at the beginning of each of the videos. This is because this content was previously found in Chapter 16 and I simply have not had time to update the introduction to each of the ten videos.

Finally, while all of the content in this chapter is important (of course), it is especially important that you fully comprehend the differences between "chronological" and "ontogenetic" age in clonal propagation systems, as well as the role of the "cone of juvenility" in the success of clonal propagation efforts.
